Aluminum vs Steel Enclosed Trailer

Aluminum vs Steel Enclosed Trailer

Why buy an aluminum enclosed trailer over a steel one? Easy!

An aluminum enclosed trailer is lighter than a steel enclosed trailer of the equivalent size. This means your tow vehicle will get better fuel mileage, less wear and tear and overall it's just easier to tow a lighter trailer!

Another reason to buy an aluminum enclosed trailer is the higher carrying capacity. Say the G.V.W.R. of the trailer is 9,995# and the trailer weight is 3,000# your carrying capacity is 6,995#. If the trailer weight was 5,000# with the G.V.W.R still 9,995# the carrying capacity of the trailer is 4,995#.

Your aluminum enclosed trailer will not rust and maintain the new look a lot longer than a steel one will.
