If you're new to our Marlon sled deck, you might not be aware of the many functionalities it offers. One standout feature that makes our deck a top choice is its ability to fit almost any box size, thanks to our adjustable leg system. So, how does it work?

We offer two sled deck sizes: our 8’ deck, which fits in an 8’ box down to a 6’2” box, and our 7’ deck, which fits in a 6’6” box down to a 5’4” box. The adjustability of the legs allows the deck to move the back legs forward on the deck. We've incorporated an extrusion into the frame of the sled deck to facilitate this process easily. This system comprises six carriage bolts, four button head bolts per leg, and a deck leveling kit.

To adjust them, simply loose the six carriage bolts and take out the four button head bolts to slide the leg forward in the extrusion. This feature not only enables fitting a longer deck in a shorter box but also facilitates resale of the truck deck or if you change trucks, to accommodate it into a truck with a different size box than your last.

When comparing our sled deck to other brands, the feet on the legs are another aspect of our system worth highlighting. Our decks come with a "deck leveling kit," which includes a large surface foot pad to distribute weight over a broader area within your truck bed. Smaller feet concentrate weight in a smaller area, increasing the risk of your pickup box caving in or cracking. The deck leveling kit also includes shims for adjusting the deck height, ensuring a perfect fit. Given that truck manufacturers often vary box depths between models and years, these shims prove invaluable. In contrast, other brands adjust their legs using holes, bolts, and pinch bolts, which can lead to oval-shaped holes, and over time to the breakdown of moving parts, resulting in looseness.
